HE'D BE A TERRIBLE SPY. BUT HE MIGHT MAKE A GOOD HUSBAND.

Call him Teague. Finn Teague. A jack-of-all-trades, he's been everything from ski instructor to cook, but he's always craved a job that wouldn't bore the living daylights out of him. He longs to be a shaken-not-stirred kind of guy but knows it'll never happen. Currently a lawyer, Double-Oh-No spends most of his time in his L.A. apartment, ogling his two gorgeous neighbors—a view to a thrill—and fantasizing that he's a secret agent.

Amber Robinson, an elite operative for a top-secret government agency, is tracking a suspected terrorist's mistress. Her hunky neighbor Finn seems to be doing the same and Amber suspect he's a spy—just a very, very bad one. Setting out to seduce him and crack his secret identity (yes, she has the best job ever) Amber unwittingly takes Finn on a passion-filled, high-stakes adventure that'll teach him to never say never again.

USA Today bestselling author Julie Kenner presents a hilarious and sexy spy caper full of intoxicating, for-your-eyes-only romance!

More Praise!

"An ample dose of hot sex satisfies the book's romance genre requirements, but the author's flair for fast-paced suspense and sparkling, snappy dialogue enables the book to move past its romance roots and appeal to a wider readership. Cameo appearances by characters from Kenner's previous romantic intrigue, Nobody But You, will please her fans, and action that literally doesn't let up till the last page should keep readers returning for more. FORECAST: Kenner's star is definitely on the ascent. She's not only skilled, but prolific as well; she recently signed on with Downtown Press for three books and Berkley for two more."
   —Publishers Weekly

"The Spy Who Loves Me is pure tongue-in-cheek adventure and one hundred percent entertainment. The characters are engaging, the dialogue is snappy, and the escapade is just pure fun. This is adventure packed fantasy chock-full of humor and sensuality at its best!"
   —Reader to Reader Reviews

"Fasten your seatbelt. Julie Kenner always takes you on a wild, funny ride!"
—Stephanie Bond, author of Kill The Competition.

"Julie Kenner has done it again with The Spy Who Loves Me ... [and] she takes us on a fun filled, sexy journey with Amber as she tries to balance the career that saved her with the man she is growing to love."

Story Behind the Story

I fell in love with Finn while writing Nobody But You, and simply had to write his book. But Finn was a unique guy and needed a unique story.

Not being one to follow rules to the letter, I also wanted to do something a bit tongue-in-cheek. Nobody But You had included snippets of a hard-boiled novel in progress. But for Finn's book ...

Well, Finn was a tough nut. A renaissance man if there ever was one, and a man who fancied himself a James Bond type, too ...

It was that fantasy that spurred the opening scene of the book. And that spurred the rest of the plot: what if a guy pretending to be a spy was actually mistaken for a spy?

The bad guys, of course, needed to be over-the-top. Like SPECTRE from the old Bond flicks.

And how cool that the original cover (not used on the book—alas—but still oh-so-cool) was designed by the same artist who did the original Bond covers. Check it out! And check out the book, while you're at it!
