Martini & Olive books is looking for 12-16 photogenic, sexy men (age range 18-40) for use on book covers (digital and print) and related promotional materials for a new romance novel series launching in January of 2018 authored by an award-winning, New York Times & international bestselling author.
The Casting Call will be held on Saturday, March 4, in north Austin, Texas, by invitation only. The Actual Cover Shoot will take place on April 24 in Austin, Texas, at various locations downtown and near the University, specific times and locations to be provided upon invitation to participate

Models invited to the Casting Call will be required to bring one or two changes of clothes. Photographs will be taken with and without a shirt.
Models invited to the Casting Call will be notified within ten days of receipt of their Application Email and given the location of the Casting Call and their time slot. Models will be interviewed in 15 minute slots and should expect to be posed and photographed during the Casting Call, such posed photo to be used only for decision-making purposes by Martini & Olive Books.*
Models selected for the actual Cover Shoot will be notified within 72 hours of the Casting Call. Modeling Fee for the Cover Shoot to be determined pursuant to a sliding scale based on experience, but in no event to exceed $400, to be paid at the conclusion of that model’s slot at the Cover Shoot, and upon signing of all required releases. Models at the Cover Shoot may be posed and photographed in groups.
Models invited to the Cover Shoot will be asked to sign a release for (a) the official photographs taken by the Photographer (this release is required) and (b) candid promotional photographs* taken by Martini & Olive staff (Model may opt out). Such releases are available in advance upon request.
*Candid photos will be taken throughout the day of the Cover Shoot by Martini & Olive Books for publicity purposes and may be used in social media in an informative and/or promotional manner (i.e., “Check it out! We’re doing a casting call for a new series launching in 2018! Check back to see who ends up on the covers!” with such language being an example only), and that Model understands and agrees that such promotional use of the Candid Photos along with the Modeling Fee constitutes good and valuable consideration.
